Delinea Secret Server 12.2

Release 12.2 for Delinea’s Secret Server has been available since the end of August 2026.

This release introduces new authentication measures and features related to launchers and remote access, while also expanding and improving existing functions.

Features

Authentication and Identity

• Added a setting to disable SAML auto-redirect and list identity providers on the login page
• Added support for multiple certificates in SAML identity provider configuration

Automation and Integration

• Added Platform group membership actions to event pipelines
• Added web API endpoints replacing the legacy RDP web service

Database Authentication

• Added Azure Managed Identity authentication for Azure SQL Database connections

Launchers and Remote Access

• Added a VNC launcher type with session recording search
• Added RD Gateway protocol support to the RDP Proxy
• Enabled the VNC launcher to deliver credentials to Privileged Remote Access sessions
