What is Heartbeat?
- Secret Server checks a password to see if it is correct.
This is done with the so-called Heartbeat.
Why is it important?
- It is very important that the passwords in your Vault are up to date.
- The Heartbeat runs automatically on a regular basis.
- Secret Server can inform you if a Heartbeat fails.
A Heatbeat could fail if someone changes a password manually and does not add it to Secret Server.
